And it SUCKS being a temp employee. Because I absolutely will not buy a house until I have a full-time, permanent position.
This one is a close to being perfect as any I’ve seen yet. It’s a Cape, eye dormers, full shed dormer, one-car garage, and a small yard (.24 acre.) It has 3 bedrooms and finished cellar, so everyone will have their own room. New roof and boiler. Vinyl-siding. New Trex deck and an above ground pool. Okay, the pool I’m not so thrilled about, but the rest – perfection.
And…I’ve submitted my resume for a permanent position at work. If I get this position, and a kick-ass raise with it, and if I’ve improved my credit score enough and qualify for a mortgage, and I can get this house for about $15K less than their asking price…well, I suddenly feel like maybe, just maybe, the moon and the stars and the planets are at least starting to align for me.
Let’s hope.

Hopefully you get the perm position! You’ve waited long enough and you certainly deserve it!!
cute. I hope you get it. The pool might not be so bad – you can get a Saltwater Generator and the water will feel super super luxurious simply because it feel soft on your skin and you don’t have the same irritation that you get from public pools. and it will be yours. all yours. right? I have an Intex Metal Frame above ground pool and the kids love it. fingers crossed.
