Awesome book. I read it last weekend and decided to try it. (Hey, what can it hurt?) I told my oldest about it on Sunday in the car. Skimmed over some of the main points, really. Tried to explain that if you live as though you truly believe what you want is what you’ll get, if you apply positive thinking, you will get everything you want. (Simplistic explanation, I know, but she’s 15 and very capable of reading the book herself.)
Anyway, she went to Bingo with her aunt that night. When she came home, she says, “That book works! I believed I was going to win. I said, ‘The next number called will be 2.’ And it was. I won $67.00!!!”
Turns out she was skeptical until she won money.
As for my experience this week:
I have been suffering with tendonitis in my left knee and bursitis in my right hip for almost a year now. I have just completed physical therapy, and while both are slightly better, I was still in pain. Add to that some new foot pain in my left foot (bunion, gout?) I was pretty miserable.
So, I started telling myself, “I am healthy, I am perfect. I am perfectly healthy.” The foot pain was cured in a day and a half. Four days later, I had no pain in my hip. The tendonitis is still there, but I have confidence its days are numbered.
My mantra now? “I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am a homeowner.”
